Panoramic Paper
240gsm Gloss or Satin (Super Dry)

"Hi, you may like to know that after taking delivery of your panorama paper
yesterday I have had a chance to try it today. Most of my panoramas are
taken on location around the world with a wide range of subject matter.
Your paper gives very impressive results on just a canon i990 printer.
It certainly beats Epson's Premium; HP paper and Fuji Premium glossy.
It compares well with Ilford Galeria and as you produce it the panorama
size its also a lot cheaper than cutting up A2 sheets to make panorama
strips. Thanks"

Making Panoramic Photographs
A panoramic photograph is longer than a standard photograph and is produced by "stitching" 2 or more images together. Photographs can be created using image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Elements 2 with later versions including "Photomerge"; a purpose designed facility for creating panoramic photographs. There are also many stand alone programs including Omnistitcher, Arcsoft Panorama Maker and Panorama Factory. Some of these programs may be downloaded from the internet on a free trial basis.
Producing a stunning panoramic photograph is basically very simple. You do not need specialist cameras or equipment; just a tripod (preferably with a spirit bubble) and a digital camera.
Ensure that the tripod is level using the spirit bubble on the tripod or hot shoe mounted spirit level. These can be purchased from most photographic shops for a couple of pounds.
Best results will be obtained by setting the camera to manual exposure mode and manual focus . This will ensure that exposures and focus will remain consistent throughout the finished panoramic photograph.
Do not use a polarising filter when making panoramic photographs. This will make the sky and scene look uneven as the effect varies depending on the angle from the sun. If you need to darken the sky use a graduated filter.
Begin taking photographs. Rotate the camera from left to right and allow at least a 30% overlap on each exposure. This allows the software to make smooth transitions between each image.

Printer settings
To access printer set up.
Go to Start menu, printer and faxes, click on the printer icon, printer, printer preferences. Once you are here you can set a user defined size for the relevant paper dimensions. If you are using Ink2Paper panoramic paper the dimensions are 164.5mm by 483mm or imperial 6.5 inches by 19 inches.
This is also the maximum image size that could be used in the editing software also.
